The Genius of Richter
Sviatoslav Teofilovich Richter was a Soviet pianist well known for the depth of his interpretations, virtuoso technique, and vast repertoire. He is widely considered one of the greatest pianists of the 20th century.
On listening to Bach: "It does no harm to listen to Bach from time to time, even if only from a hygienic standpoint."
He was awarded the Doctor of Music, honoris causa Oxford University. I do not know much about this genius but I intend to find out as much as I can. More on him soon.
